About Us
Chef and shopkeeper Susan Linyear is new to Crisfield, but not new to the lifestyle of the Chesapeake Bay waterfront. Chef Susan is a native of Norfolk, Virginia and felt drawn back to the Bay after years of living near Washington DC and running a personal chef and catering business. She also shares a business background with husband and partner Quenton Linyear that convinced them that Crisfield would be a great location for a new food business that respects the region’s culinary traditions.
The Linyears’ plans for Heart of the Home Fine Foods include more private label products such as olive oils and salad dressings, and a line of frozen appetizers created by Chef Susan.
